How we came to be
Reunion Tower’s star power began in 1978, when Ray L. Hunt and John Field Scovell developed one of the grandest real estate plans in Dallas history. Their grand plan for what then was called “La Reunion”, included a 560 foot tower, glass encased hotel, and an arena. Over the years, the Reunion Tower has remained an icon for Dallas and its fellow inhabitants. The Reunion Tower always had the courage to reinvent itself, creating new traditions and letting go of the old.
Who we are today
Reunion Tower now encompasses a state of the art observation deck, namely the GeO-Deck. As well as Cloud Nine Café and Five Sixty, the fine dining restaurant.
In addition, our guests can stay at the Hyatt Regency Dallas located right next door. At the Hyatt Regency Dallas you can spread out in spacious guest rooms, and take in expansive views of the atrium or Trinity River Greenbelt below. Stay in the heart of downtown Dallas, adjacent to the historic district, West End, entertainment district and arenas. As well as, relax, refresh and recharge, with a dip in the hotel’s refreshing outdoor pool or a workout in our 24-hour StayFit™ gym.

As an Intern, you’ll be exposed to a variety of business practices and learn from some of the most talented professionals in the industry.
Reunion Tower Internships are all year round. (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer)
Specific internship opportunities vary each semester and can include the following areas:
- Event Management
- Human Resources
Internship applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be actively enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate-level student.
Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (transcripts submitted upon request).
Meet job specific qualifications as outlined in the Intern job description.
Meet internship availability requirements, which typically involve working 20 to 40 hours a week for a minimum of 10 weeks.
