Acrylic Pouring – Split Cup

Come experience the beauty and relaxation of acrylic paint pouring with ColorHype at Reunion Tower on Monday, March 1 beginning at 7:00 p.m. You’ll master the art of acrylic pouring above the city with 360-degree views. Take a walk, out on the observation deck for the perfect selfie with downtown as the backdrop!

We will be learning how to acrylic pour using a split cup! Don’t know what this looks like? Just google “Split cup acrylic pour” and you’ll see all kinds of fun pieces! Acrylic pouring classes are becoming increasingly popular. During this class, you will learn how to mix the paint with the pouring mediums, watch technique tutorials done by Chelsey and get to complete a piece or pieces on your own on an 8×10 canvas. The split cup does NOT come in your ticket to take home at the end of the evening, but they will be available to purchase for $16 or you can add on to your ticket and take home the one you create with at the class!

Please note: The 2 canvas option is meant for one person to paint 2 canvases. For each person wanting to paint please purchase a separate ticket.

Your Acrylic Pouring Kit will include:

• A General Admission ticket to the Reunion Tower GeO-Deck
• An 8×10 canvas (you can choose one or two)
• 2 sticks to hold up the canvas
• Choices of paint
• Silicone
• Gloves
• Popsicle sticks for paint mixing

When you leave you will be taking your artwork with you, they will be wet for up to 24 hours after you leave. You will be given a box to sit the pieces on to help protect your car. You will not be allowed to leave the pieces at the location. By signing up for this class you are accepting full responsibility for any damages to your personal property, which may be caused by paint and/or any other materials taken away from the class. Please note – ColorHype is not responsible for paint shifting off of the canvas when you leave the venue. This happens due to jostling in the car from a long ride sometimes.
