April showers bring May flowers… and migrating birds. Isn’t that how the saying goes?! 

Every Spring, bird species of all types and sizes make migrations, some covering thousands of miles and even spanning continents. Depending on the species, some birds will do their flights at night. Migration is crucial to the survival of many species and having Reunion Tower lit up brightly could confuse even the smartest of birds. From April 22 – May 12, Reunion Tower will dim its lights to 50% output from dusk until 11 p.m., dark from 11 p.m. – 6 a.m. and then back to 50% output from 6 a.m.- sunrise.
